KPHL Tiermaker 2022-10-19 Cup Favorites- The west is screwed. Both of these powerhouses have great teams. Colorado is led by their elite playmakers, fantastic depth, and solid goaltending. Likewise, Vegas has slightly lesser talent, but much better goaltending. Either of these teams could win the Presidents Trophy with their current rosters. The only weakness for Vegas is a rough 4th line and lack of elite level centers. For Colorado, they don't have quality middle-6 wingers to help in case the first line is stymied. Colorado Vegas Contenders- All of these teams should do quite well for themselves this season. Barring any major shakeups or injuries, these 5 teams should be bound for the playoffs. Nashville has some elite level goal scoring abilities, but lack the personnel to get them the puck. Vancouver has a terrific top 6 and top 4, but lacks the supporting cast. Florida is deep and has elite talent, but lacks goaltending. Edmonton has Connor and Leon, but not a lot of support for them. Pittsburgh has elite talent, but lack quality defenders. This tier should be fun to watch for the season, maybe one of them can trade or acquire talent that breaks them into the top tier? Nashville Vancouver Florida Edmonton Pittsburgh Playoff Teams- These teams could easily jump to contenders on one or 2 moves. They all lack that one thing that will likely hold them back from being an elite team. Toronto and Boston have huge gaps in net. Carolina lacks depth. St Louis and Calgary have no goal scorers. Minnesota has no winger support. Toronto Boston Carolina St Louis Minnesota Calgary Anything Could Happen- Without goimg into detail on half the league, these teams have huge questions. Any one of them have the potential to be playoff teams, but could just as likely end up in the Robby tier if the Sim isn't friendly to them. New York Rangers New York Islanders Anaheim Tampa Bay Montreal Detroit Ottawa Winnipeg Buffalo Dallas Los Angeles Columbus Fantilli Sweepstakes- Welp. Connor Bedard won't be there for these guys. I'd say the guy rocking with an ECHL team has the upper hand. Sorry folks. Arizona San Jose Washington Philadelphia New Jersey Robby- Seriously the worst SIMHL team I have ever seen.
